Ujima is a newly opened 5 star lodge set within a quiet, private setting, designed for ease and a slower pace of bush life. Interiors are calm and natural, designed to bring the outside in, with wood, stone and glass creating a seamless connection to the bush. The lodge offers a relaxed, spacious feel, with areas to gather or unwind, from evenings in the outdoor boma to time by the saltwater pool, all with wildlife moving freely through the grounds. It is not unusual to see giraffe, zebra, kudu and other plains game passing by, making this a place where the bush is ever-present and quietly part of everyday life.
With direct access into the Greater Kruger National Park, guests enjoy guided safaris in a private traversing area, home to the iconic Big Five. Led by exceptional local guides, each drive offers a more personal experience, with fewer vehicles, strong wildlife sightings and a sense of space that makes every safari feel quietly special.
